Limited Lifetime Warranty

TGX Guitars and Amps Series 

Guitar Imports warrants this instrument to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser, subject to the limitations set forth herein. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when this instrument is purchased from an authorized Guitar Imports dealer, and requires the purchaser to supply a copy of the original proof of purchase at the time warranty service is requested. No additional warranty "registration" is required.

This Limited Warranty does not apply [to]: (a) wear or breakage of frets or strings, or other normal wear and tear of the instrument or its parts; (b) asserted defects caused by modification, misuse, or abuse, or improper maintenance of the instrument; (c) asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments; (d) asserted defects caused by accident or exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity that cause harm to the instruments; or (f) defects asserted by any purchaser who did not purchase the instrument from an authorized Guitar Imports.

Electronic components are warranted for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.

Repair service of defects covered by this warranty can be performed only at a Guitar Imports authorized warranty service center, as designated by Guitar Imports.

All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs on Peal and TGX guitars are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is any service initiated for the purpose of customizing adjustments beyond factory specifications.

Limitations and exclusions

The following items are not covered by this warranty:

1. Any instrument whose serial number is missing, or has been altered or tampered with in any fashion.
2. Strings and batteries.
3. Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument including jacks, controls and switches, worn frets, plated surfaces, tuning machines, pickguards, saddles and nuts, etc.
4. Instruments which have been serviced by unauthorized persons (any person other than Peal or TGX authorized service centers and technicians holding a certificate of warranty service authorization for the period during which the work was performed).
5. Defects in finishes, or cracks, splitting, or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to sun, fire, moisture, body salts and acids, other chemicals or polishes.
6. Case and case hardware wear and tear.
7. All other defects and deterioration due to normal usage, wear and tear, aging, accidents, neglect, abuse, or acts of Nature.
8. Guitar accessories such as: DVD's, tuners, straps, strings, cases,  CD-Roms, Capos, etc.
